Solola, Guatemala.
Our team consisted of pharmacists, pharmacy students, medical providers, dental providers, an optometry provider, and translators. The Guatemalan population where we worked spoke a Mayan dialect, called K’iche. Our partner for the medical mission was Vivamos Mejor (4th year), a local NGO that has a very strong presence in the area. The team provided free healthcare services to poor communities.
